This workshop will focus on developing the advocates' mutual understanding of the able-bodied and disabled, therefore enabling them to promote the Paralympic spirit. Paralympic athletes and other experts will be present at the workshops, and the participants will also have access to a copy of the bi-lingual Paralympic knowledge handbook, which will be provided online.
The workshops will be run with the support of the Beijing Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (BOCOG), by the Chinese Disabled Persons Federation (CDPF). They will run from June to August 2008 in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, and Hong Kong.
